Appearance

Rojo rubí intenso con ribetes granate. Capa cubierta, brillante y de gran densidad visual.

Nose

Uno de los iconos de Rioja. Tempranillo con Cabernet Sauvignon y Graciano. Fruta negra madura, cedro, tabaco, especias finas y mineral. Extraordinariamente complejo y seductor.

Palate

Potente y estructurado con taninos finos y envolventes. Acidez precisa y bien integrada. Final interminable, mineral, especiado y con capas de fruta. Vino de larguísima guarda.

Description

Dalmau comes from Pago Canajas, 9 hectares of vineyards located in the middle-high part of our Finca Ygay, at 465 metres above sea level. Its clay-ferrous soil has a large presence of pebbles on the surface, favouring the optimal ripening of its grapes. At the end of veraison we thin out the bunches, limiting production to no more than 1 kilo per plant and selecting bunches of fine grain with great concentration.
