Palate
Creamy on the palate, with notes of rich honey, spicy fruit and caramelized brown sugar, with a distinctive malt character with a nutty flavor. Strong and slightly dry finish, the complexity of the flavors lingers on the palate with notes of warm ginger and spiced pear.
Description
Bushmills 12 Year Old Single Malt Whisky is triple distilled from 100% malted barley and matured in oloroso sherry casks and bourbon barrels before being finished in Sicilian marsala casks.
These fortified wine barrels bring extra notes of ripe and spicy fruit, deeper sweet notes like brown sugar, and a delicate dry touch of nuts.
