Tasting notes

Exotic fruits, peach, vanilla, soft wood.

Good presence of wood (due to aging), ripe fruits (mango, pineapple, peach), also notes of spices such as black pepper, nutmeg, cloves.

The use of French oak barrels + cognac barrels makes it more elegant and distinct from many standard tropical rums.

Relatively smooth profile on the palate (45%) but complex: both ripe fruit and wood/spices.

Single estate source. All molasses comes from the “Belle Vue” estate.
