Carramimbre Wineries

Bodegas Carramimbre is located in «Pago el Pingón», just 3 km from Peñafiel (Valladolid), in the heart of the Ribera del Duero. It was founded in 1997 by several families deeply rooted in the area's vineyards, with a clear goal: to produce wines that express the character of their land.

The winery has more than 50 hectares of its own vineyards, with young vines and vines over 30 years old in areas such as Carramimbre, El Pago de Pingón, Las Henades, La Calvarra, and El Hoyo de Herrera. Tempranillo and Cabernet Sauvignon predominate there, always under the principle of quality over quantity.

Its Carramimbre, Altamimbre, and Torrepingón red wines are aged in French and American oak barrels and have been recognized by the Guía Peñín, Wine Spectator, and Wine Enthusiast. The winery also produces a Verdejo under the Rueda PDO.
