Nose
Elegant and intense. With aromas of red fruit (cherry, strawberry and raspberry) and flowers (violet and rose) on a balsamic background.
Palate
Fresh, balanced and glyceric; with good acidity and pleasant finish. Floral and red fruit notes return in the retronasal.
Description
Vía Romana offers the essence of the land where it grows. The grapes, from the Ribeira Sacra region of the Miño River, are selected after the hand-harvest. Alcoholic fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks. It remains there for a minimum of one year at a controlled temperature and is then gently aged in the bottle before being released to the market.
As a result of our commitment to constant innovation, we have used a vegetable clarifying agent in the new 2015 vintage of Vía Romana: pea protein.
That's why we were able to certify our wine as vegan wine , and it's the first Galician wine with vegan certification!
